Aura Atelier is the design studio and workshop of Gerard Del Monte. His creative influences include the restraint of Zen, classical mathematical and architectural proportions, and Bauhaus functionality. From his shop on south Whidbey Island in Washington State, he crafts elegant designs in wood featuring silky finishes of hand-rubbed oil and wax – a joy to feel. Produced in limited editions; commissions welcomed.
