Bela Monde was created by travel photographer Lisa Limer. Lisa traveled to over 40 countries on six continents during her professional career as magazine photographer for prestigious publications such as: Conde Nast Traveler, Marie Claire and Harper’s Bazaar, amongst others.

Now she is using her own original photographs from around the world to create fabric designs that are digitally printed on 100% silk in North Carolina. Each pattern is a reflection of the country and culture that were the source of the inspiration. The original photograph that inspired the design included in each keepsake magnetically closed box. Scarves and loungewear are hand sewn in Rhode Island.
