Ian Buchbinder began working with clay during high school. He received his BFA in Ceramics from the Rhode Island School of Design and worked as a production potter at Three Wheel Studio in Providence, RI for over three years. Presently, he works independently under the name Coywolf Studio. His work focuses on sturdy, handmade forms featuring joyful, hand painted scenes of astronauts and their intrepid pets exploring outer space. His goal is to create fun, lighthearted ceramics that are unique and durable enough for everyday use. Personalized designs are available to customers looking for the perfect present for their pet-loving friends or to pay homage to their very own furry companion.
