My one-of-a-kind work ebbs and flows based on my inspiration sometimes inspired by a commission, or a brush with nature. These pieces are collectable, each totally unique. Made in my San Francisco studio. In 2021 I began a new series entitled “small comforts”, exploring where ornamentation and objects overlap. I am pondering how comfort is found and given and what that looks like from many different perspectives. The kinetic nature of these pieces function as a fidget for the wearer or movement for the viewer, each design is carefully engineered to last. All one-of-a-kind items are customizable and generally develop within a series up to 12.
