ERIN CASTELLAN [2003, TEXTILES]

All erineleanor knits are designed and hand-loomed by Erin Eleanor Castellan. Each item is crafted using quality yarns made from natural fibers including merino wool, cotton, linen, and bamboo. Erin strives to produce fully-fashioned, one-of-a-kind and small batch clothing with virtually zero waste.

Erin holds a BFA in Textile Design from the Rhode Island School of Design and an MFA in Painting from Indiana University. She was a 2012-2013 Artist-in-Residence at Arrowmont School of Arts and Crafts and a 2016 Society for Contemporary Craft LEAP Award finalist. In addition to knitting, Erin enjoys teaching workshops at craft schools across the country and maintains an active studio art practice creating embroidered and beaded paintings.
