Goodjoy is a small New York design studio founded on a twist of product fate, the Hooking Toothbrush. Believing that toothbrushes should not sit in a cup, but hang to dry because it is more hygienic. Since then, goodjoy has designed several objects for the bathroom. Most recently, goodjoy has learned the art of slip casting; a manufacturing process that allows for the production of multiple castings of a single object using clay slip and plaster molds. Leslie Roeder is currently the lead designer and manager for goodjoy design. All slip cast items are made one at a time by Leslie.
