Chuck Stolarek is California based textile artist, working primarily in print, clothing, and embroidery. His work explores the overlapping of humor, confusion, belonging, context, association, and abstract storytelling. A 2002 graduate of Rhode Island School of Design’s furniture program, Chuck later went on to study womenswear at Central St. Martins, London. His work has been seen in Sportswear International, Bust Magazine, LA Weekly, Surface Magazine, San Jose Museum of Quilts and Textiles, and on MTV.
