Kathy Hodge was born in Providence and has been painting in oils since she was 16. Her work is usually done in series, with inspiration from the landscape, church facades, Russia and Shoemaking machinery. Most recently she has developed series as a result of serving as artist in residence in 14 National Parks and Forests.
