‘Kiiltää’ is sculptural jewelry and accessories in modern processes and traditional materials for the art and design adventurist. Designer Lauren Lake explores various processes to design and create jewelry, wearable art and accessories. From her earliest practice within a variety of art forms, and three dimensional making, she’s sought to balance ‘art’ and ‘functional design.’ Especially drawn to structure, pattern and form, her process has become an ongoing examination through various media where method intersect with object.
