Founded in 1997 Laura Zindel Design Studio is located in Brattleboro, Vermont. Laura and her husband Thorsten work with a small team of local artisans to produce their line of handmade tableware. Laura Zindel tableware is fabricated in small batches of white earthenware and brushed with hand mixed glazes. The surface of each piece is collaged with silk screened enamel transfers of Laura’s pencil drawings of flora and fauna. Each piece is fired 3 times to create the rich surfaces of these heirloom quality place settings and serving dishes and table accessories. Laura’s wish is for her collectors to be able to choose from her vast menagerie, a personal cabinet of curiosity and wonder to be enjoyed with friends and family with their stories, on the table.
