Born and raised in South Korea and educated in the U.S.A., Youngeun Han has been designing jewelry since 2009. She is the founder and award-winning designer of Y.Han. She has won first and second place in the MJSA awards, had her work exhibited internationally, and has designed for nationwide corporations. Her multi faceted background in the visual arts, graphic design and jewelry design is visibly yet unpredictably reflected on her collections. Utilizing the skills of craft and aesthetics that has been acquired through years of training has become subconscious nature in composing elements for the body. Ultimately, fun and feel-good experience is what she offers with her work- challenging conventional norms, going a little bit extra- for leaders and darers in life. Each piece is conceived from free flowing sketches and carefully hand crafted in New York City. All along with ethical practices that transcends from production to end customer, believing in the social commitment of humankind to the end goal- bringing virtue to the world with the passion for adornments.
